The Conservative vs Modern

Conservative and Modern are those two words which always remain popular among all. No one is ignorant of these two words. If you start a debate on this, it’s tough for you to come to any conclusion since everyone has their own logic and point of view about these words.

Conservative relate to outmoded and obsolete whereas modern relate to neo and trendy. Conservative person favours those things that are traditional and a modern person favours things that are in trend. In other words - A person who rejects novelty and ostentation and adheres old principles, habits, rituals and fashion, is called conservative. On the contrary, a person who accepts newness and pretentiousness and spurn all those things that are antiquated, is called modern.

There has always been continual disputes of ideologies between these two words in numerous ways. Conservatives tend to maintain existing outlook and conditions and value the traditions that their ancestors have set in ancient times. They don’t accept changes. Their thinking of the world is limited upto their own conservative thoughts.

While modern men mould themselves according to the time. They are open-minded who move with the flow and accept every change that occurs in society. You can see them up to date. They like music, food, styles, dress sense, fashion etc which trend in the present time. There is a big gap between these two words and it’s not handy to fill this gap unless you accept changes and change your view of society.
